Falcons Crack College Swimming's Top 50

Somers, Wis. - The Bowling Green State University swim team appeared at No. 47 on CollegeSwimming.com's list of the Top 50 women's swim teams in the nation. The Falcons were the third-highest Mid-American Conference school on the list, just behind Toledo (No. 42) and Miami (No. 44).

The rankings take into account meets raced since Dec. 31, in which time BGSU has posted impressive times against Eastern Michigan, Michigan State and Buffalo. In their most recent tri-meet, the Falcons outscored both Buffalo and Michigan State in eight out of 14 swimming events. Bowling Green has not lost a relay in any meet so far in 2013.

Points for CollegeSwimming.com's rankings are calculated using the average percentile rank of each team's top 27 in each meet. The Top 50 are ranked according to each team's best performance over a four-week period.
