The 2013 season is just three days away, and the Falcons have been hard at work preparing for the season-opening game at Western Kentucky. On Tuesday afternoon, the Falcons were able to get outside to take some batting practice in the elements.
The Falcons return starters at all nine positions, including Brian Bien, who was an all-MAC performer a season ago. The top 11 Falcon hitters return, including all seven who hit over .300. Andrew Kubuski led the Falcon attack in 2012, batting .367 in 51 appearances. T.J. Losby, who led the Falcons in RBIs, was the only Falcon to appear in all 53 games a season ago.
