2014: Played in 38 games, making 35 starts in the outfield … batted .278 with an on-base percentage of .308 … had 19 runs scored and 10 runs batted in … had four outfield assists … made his season debut at Belmont on Feb. 15 … went 2-for-3 in game with an RBI … had four multi-hit games during the first two weekends of the season … finished with 12 multi-hit games … had a season-high three hits in a 3-for-5 effort against Central Michigan on Apr. 11 … made his return to the lineup on May 2 after missing three weeks due to concussion-like symptoms … had three hits in the weekend series at MU … had four hits in a weekend series at Buffalo.

HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year letterman at Elyria Catholic High School…coached by his father, Thomas Kubuski…as a senior he batted with a .492 average, scored 24 runs, had 29 hits, 20 RBI, 12 extra-base hits – including four home runs – and stole five bases…as a junior he hit .460 with 21 RBI, five doubles, five triples and a .500 on-base percentage…was named First Team All-Lorain County and First Team All-North Coast League three straight years (2008-10)…placed on the ESPN “RISE” Magazine Watch List during both his junior and senior seasons…was a Second Team All-Ohio selection in 2010…selected to play in the Mizuno All-Ohio Series, Lorain County All-Star Game and NEOBCA All-Star Game that same year…also lettered in basketball.
