Glanzman, Hill Named Pizza Hut Athletes Of The Week

Each week, the Bowling Green State University Athletic Department names the Pizza Hut Athletes of the Week, as selected by the athletic communications department based on their athletic performances from the previous week. This week's winners are baseball player Nick Glanzman and tennis player Mary Hill.
Male Athlete of the Week
Nick Glanzman, a freshman from Pickerington, Ohio, led the Falcons to a 4-0 week by batting .500 (6-12) with an on-base percentage of .600. Glanzman came through in the clutch numerous times during the week, scoring seven runs, driving in four, drawing three walks, knocking his first two career extra-base hits, and going a perfect 2-for-2 on stolen base attempts.
Female Athlete of the Week
Mary Hill, a senior from Muncie, Ind., went 4-0 on the week, combining with teammate Jade Johnson on a pair of doubles wins and sweeping a pair of singles opponents at the No. 6 flight. She won 8-2 and 8-4 in doubles play, while dropping just four games in each of her two singles victories.
