Victoria Griffin Wins MAC Swimmer Of The Week

Cleveland, Ohio – Bowling Green State University sophomore Victoria Griffin was named the Mid-American Conference's Swimmer of the Week. This is Griffin's fifth time winning the award in her career as a Falcon.
Coming off of an impressive freshman campaign that included a First Team All-MAC selection, Griffin swam on six winning relay teams at the Tom Stubbs Relays Oct. 3 against Toledo, Akron, Youngstown State and Findlay. She was a part of four relay teams to set new meet records (3x100 butterfly relay- 2:51.84, 400 medley relay- 3:49.72, 200 freestyle relay- 1:35.49 and 400 medley relay- 3:49.72).
The swimming and diving team return to action Oct. 24 at Cooper Pool as it hosts Ball State at 5 p.m. This meet will also be an autograph day for fans.
