Dufour, Rogers Named Pizza Hut Athletes Of The Week

Each week, the Bowling Green State University Athletic Department names the Pizza Hut Athletes of the Week, as selected by the athletic communications department based on their athletic performances from the previous week. This week's winners are hockey player Kevin Dufour and women's basketball player Alexis Rogers

Male Athlete of the Week

Kevin Dufour, a freshman from Quebec City, Canada, had three goals and an assist as BGSU Hockey swept Bemidji State to earn home ice in the first round of the WCHA Playoffs. In game one, his goal gave the Falcons a 3-2 lead and was the first in a three-goal stretch that put BGSU in the driver's seat. In game two, he scored early in the second period to tie the contest and then put the Falcons ahead 4-2 with a third-period tally.

Female Athlete of the Week
Alexis Rogers, a senior from West Chester, Ohio, averaged 22.0 points, 9.0 rebounds and 6.5 steals per game as BGSU beat Miami and Akron on the road to win the MAC regular season outright with a 17-1 conference record. Against Miami, she was 7-of-11 from the field for 21 points and six steals. On Saturday, she had 23 points, 15 rebounds and seven steals to lead the Falcons to a 77-76 win over Akron.
