Griffin Earns Third MAC Swimmer Of The Week This Season

Cleveland, Ohio – Bowling Green State University sophomore Victoria Griffin was named the Mid-American Conference's Swimmer of the Week. This is Griffin's sixth time winning the award in her career as a Falcon, and third of the 2014-15 season.
Griffin accounted for nearly half of BGSU's 10 victories this past weekend in the team's win against defending MAC Champion Akron Jan. 23. The sophomore won the 50 and 100 freestyle, and was a member of both winning relay teams. Griffin remains undefeated this season in the 50 freestyle, where she is ranked second in the MAC, according to collegeswimming.com. She is also ranked number one in the MAC in the 100 freestyle.
The swimming and diving team travels to New York on Jan. 31 to take on a strong Buffalo squad.
