With just five weeks to go until BGSU baseball takes the field in Cape Girardeau, Mo. for the season opener against the Southeast Missouri Redhawks, BGSUFalcons.com will be spotlighting one senior in each of the next five weeks leading up to first pitch. Today's featured player in Brian Bien, a native of Cincinnati, Ohio. Bien, who has been named All-MAC twice in his career, will be one of three tri-captains this season. Favorite baseball memory at BGSU?
My favorite baseball memory at BGSU was winning the MAC Tournament and going to Regionals during my sophomore year.
Favorite class you've taken at BGSU?
Astronomy
Why did you choose to come to BGSU?
I chose Bowling Green because I liked the coaching staff and it seemed like the perfect fit for me when I was choosing where to go.
What do you hope to do after baseball?
Once my playing career is over I hope to pursue a career in professional baseball as a front office executive or coaching collegiate baseball.
How do you pass time on a long road trip?
Usually if I'm not sleeping on the bus I'm watching a movie to pass time.
What is your favorite meal?
Philly cheesesteak
What is one thing that you can't go one day without doing?
I can't go a day without watching SportsCenter
