Men’s Cross Country Races At All-Ohio Championships

Cedarville, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University men's cross country team competed at the 61st Annual All-Ohio Championships Friday afternoon on the Elvin R King Cross Country Course, on the campus of Cedarville University. Fifty-three teams and 662 runners competed throughout a variety of divisions and BGSU placed ninth out of 10 schools in Division I.
BGSU's 1-5 runners were separated by a spread of just 21 seconds, which is a one-minute improvement over the Spartan Invitational two weeks ago.
Redshirt sophomore Nathan Kuck placed first for the Falcons and 71st overall with a personal best time of 25:47, improving his time by 31 seconds.
Running in the second 8K of his collegiate career was freshman Noah Schaub, who placed second for BG with a time of 26:05. Overall, he finished in 101st place.
A majority of the team cut down their times giving Schenten, Kyle Repetto, Jonathan Wenning, Nick Voth, Jonathan Anderson, Zane Sturts, Dakota Brunsmand and Paul Garbarino all personal bests.
Both men's and women's cross country will be back in action Oct. 17 at Pre-Nationals in Louisville, Ky.
