Falcon Hoops Teams Meet & Greet Season-Ticket Holders

The Bowling Green State University men's and women's basketball teams held a season ticket holder party on Sunday morning (Nov. 1) at the Stroh Center.

Sunday's party was a free program for BGSU basketball season ticket holders, just one of the benefits of purchasing season tickets to Falcon athletics. The crowd in attendance was treated to breakfast, a program featuring members of both BGSU basketball programs, and an autograph session.
BGSU Director of Athletics D. Christopher Kingston addressed the crowd, and both men's basketball coach Michael Huger and women's coach Jennifer Roos talked about their respective teams on the eve of the season.
The event was capped by an autograph session with members of both teams on the main floor of the Stroh Center.
Both teams will be in action this weekend in exhibition play. The men's basketball team will face Notre Dame College on Friday night (Nov. 6), with tipoff at 6:00 p.m. The following day (Nov. 7), the BGSU women will take on Ashland in a 4:00 p.m. start at the Stroh.
The following weekend sees the Stroh host three basketball games in as many days as the regular season commences. The Falcon women will face both Illinois State and Bradley, with the BG men hosting New Orleans.
Falcon fans have already purchased more men's basketball season tickets than last year, and the number of BGSU women's basketball season tickets sold is approaching 1,000. There's still time to purchase tickets for both teams -- simply click the tickets link near the top of this page.
