May 26, 2015 | Women's Track and Field
Bowling Green, Ohio - Redshirt senior Brooke Pleger will compete at the NCAA East Region preliminary round in Jacksonville, Fla. on Saturday, alongside three of her teammates. Pleger will look to advance to the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field National Championships in Eugene, Ore. June 10-13 with hopes of earning BGSU's first national championship since gymnast Marny Oestreng won the floor exercise in 1999. She has the opportunity to become the first female three-time All-American in BGSU Athletics history.
Pleger sat down with BGSUFalcons.com to reflect upon her five years at BGSU. The team has sent nine student-athletes to regional competition in the past two years after qualifying just one student-athlete (Pleger) in the two years prior. Watch the video below to hear more about her career in anticipation of the NCAA regionals.
