Why did you choose BGSU? "I chose Bowling Green because of the academics, the amazing team, and the school itself. On my visit, I got a real feel for life as a Falcon and I couldn't pass that chance up! I am looking forward to swimming with a welcoming girls team, attending a challenging school, and having a great coaching staff! I'm so excited to be a Falcon!"
Coach's Input: "Maddy will add a lot of depth to our mid-distance freestyle group. Maddy brings a lot of great energy to the team and she is coached by one of my former swimmers from Denison, John Nemeth."

Why did you choose BGSU? "Everyone was so welcoming and funny but when it was time to practice they worked hard. They reminded me a lot of my high school team so I felt at home. I am most looking foreward to getting to know everyone and just being able to do what I love to do every day for the next four years."
Coach's Input: "Coach Rosen and I were able to get to know Kasie when we recruited her sister Carlie so we knew we were getting a great kid with great upside who will bring a lot to the program. Kasie has a tremendous upside having changed programs to train with Coach Sam Seiple. Kasie had a great summer and just finished her high school soccer season and is heading into high school swim season."

Jordan will make an immediate impact in the conference and has lofty goals and will help the rest of the IM / Breaststroke group reach their goals as well. She has a great range with her events and will be called upon to swim just about any event next season."

Why did you choose BGSU? "I chose Bowling Green because of the amazing blend of academics and athletics. The team was full of spirit and so welcoming that I felt like a part of the team on my visit. Everyone was so proud to be there and I couldn't be happier to call myself a future falcon!"
Coach's Input: "Noelle has had some great improvements this past season with her sprint freestyle events and with her coaching at Scottsdale Aquatic Club Noelle will be ready to contribute in our sprint group next year and challenge for relays. Noelle made a great impression on the swimmers here over the summer when she made her first visit to campus and connected with the whole team when she came on her official visit."

All of the girls and coaches are very closely knit and they really make you feel like you are a part of the family. Coach's Input: "Ashleigh will contribute in the sprint freestyle events next season. Ashleigh has a lot of fast swimming ahead of her and will be in a great position to push for relay spots by the end of her freshman season."

Coach's Input: "Sarah just finished her high school career with two individual final performances at the Michigan High School State Meet. Sarah will bring some much needed speed to our fly group and will be in a position to final as a freshman at the conference meet if she continues to improve over the season. Sarah is a natural sprint butterfly swimmer who is working on her mid range fly to help make her a dual threat in the butterfly events."

Coach's Input: "Monona will bring with her a wide range of events and distances with her to Bowling Green. One thing Monona brings with her that is hard to teach is speed. Monona will be looking to make a dent in a sprint freestyle events as a freshman at the conference meet. Monona is a great addition to the program and brings great team mentality with her to Bowling Green."

Why did you chose BGSU? "Bowling Green was a perfect fit for me, both in academics and with the the swim program. Coach Matt and Coach Jaclyn have a clear image of where they think the team should be and I believe they have an excellent way of putting it in motion. The girls on the team are all so close that I feel lucky to be able to call them my family for the next four years."
Coach's Input: "We are looking forward to having Shaunna join the Falcon family and follow her parents footsteps! Shaunna will help our fly group maximize points during the season and we will look to Shaunna in the mid distance / sprint freestyle group."

The BGSU swimming and diving team is just days away from their 2016-17 midseason competition, which will be held at the Miami RedHawk's homepool starting December 1st, and ending on December 3rd.
