Mid-Summer Night's Madness Event a Success

The Bowling Green State University women's basketball team held its annual "Mid-Summer Night's Madness" event Wednesday evening (July 20), and the event was an unqualified success.

Fans had the chance to mix and mingle with head coach Jennifer Roos, her coaching staff and the student-athletes on the 2016-17 team. BGSU women's basketball enthusiasts also had the opportunity to meet the Falcon newcomers and participate in a question and answer session with team members, as well as taking behind-the-scenes tours of the Stroh Center.
Roos and the Falcons now will prepare for a trip to Cuba from August 9-17, and will dive into the fall semester immediately after returning to the states.
Roos gave the fans at Wednesday's event a sneak peek at the non-conference schedule for the coming season. That schedule opens on Friday, Nov. 11, at Eastern Kentucky, and the home opener is four days later (Tuesday, Nov. 15) vs. Cincinnati. The complete 2016-17 schedule will be announced at a later date.
