SETTING THE SCENE
• Bowling Green hosts defending MAC East champion Ohio for Homecoming Saturday at Doyt L. Perry Stadium. The contest is set for a 3:30 pm kickoff.
• Ohio snapped a four-game losing streak to the Falcons a year ago with a 30-24 win in Athens, but the Falcons have outscored the Bobcats 111-24 in the last two games in Bowling Green.
• BGSU and Ohio have combined to serve as the representative of the East Division in the MAC Championship game for each of the past four seasons. The Falcons went to the championship from 2013-15 (winning in 2014 and 2016), while Ohio dethroned BGSU in 2016.
