SETTING THE SCENE
• Bowling Green travels to Kent State on Halloween Night (Tuesday, Oct. 31) to begin midweek #MACtion with an 8 p.m. kickoff from Dix Stadium.
• BGSU has earned four consecutive wins over Kent State, outscoring the Golden Flashes by a score of 161-49 over that time frame.
• A year ago, Bowling Green, en route to a three-game winning streak to end the season, picked up a 42-7 victory over Kent State at Doyt L. Perry Stadium.
• Bowling Green is 59-19-6 versus Kent State all-time. The 59 wins are more than BGSU has against any other opponent.
• The Falcons are 7-5 all-time on Halloween games, most recently earning a 34-13 win over Marshall in 1998. That defeat was Marshall's only loss of the season on the way to a 12-1 campaign, including a 48-29 win over Louisville in the Motor City Bowl.
