"We've had a good week of practice leading up to this weekend," head coach Stephanie Dalmacio said. "They are going to be tough ones, but we are ready for it."
On Saturday, the Falcons fell to 1-2 on the season after traveling to East Lansing, Mich. to face Michigan State. Two members of the Orange and Brown battled against the Spartans in singles play. Sophomore Polina Radeva took the first set versus Davina Nguyen, 7-6 (7-5) at the No. 4 spot. Freshman Marharita-Sophia Tavpash rallied after a first set defeat against Aslina Chua and was up 3-1 in the second set when play was halted due to Michigan State sealing the win.

BGSU leads the Raiders, 19-1, in the all-time series between the teams.
