SETTING THE SCENE
• Bowling Green will conclude its non-conference schedule on Saturday (Sept. 23) evening by traveling to Murfreesboro, Tennessee to face Middle Tennessee for a 7 p.m. kickoff.
• The contest will be a rematch of last year's game at Doyt L. Perry Stadium that was played in a torrential downpour.
• Both teams traded blows early on, as MTSU held a 28-21 lead at the half, but the Blue Raiders pulled away in the second half for the 41-21 victory.
• Last year's game marked the only meeting between Bowling Green and Middle Tennessee.
