OXFORD, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University men's basketball team picked up an 81-70 victory at Miami University on Tuesday (Jan. 16) evening inside Millett Hall. The Falcons shot 60.0 percent from the floor, and outscored the RedHawks by 13 points in the second half.
After trailing by a 32-30 score line at halftime, Bowling Green scored 51-second half points to pull away with the win. The ballgame featured eight lead changes and six tied scores. Four Falcons scored in double figures, led by a monster showing from junior forward Demajeo Wiggins, who posted 22 points, 15 rebounds and five assists.
SHUTTING DOWN THE KEY COGS
• Freshman forward Dalonte Brown had the best game of his young career in Miami's 77-72 win over the Falcons in the conference opener on Jan. 2. The Toledo native racked up 16 points and 17 rebounds.
• Brown was a non-factor in tonight's game, posting just three points and zero rebounds on 0-for-4 shooting.
• Junior guard Darrian Ringo, who notched 11 points, seven assists and four rebounds on Jan. 2, entered the game ranked third in the country in assists (7.9 APG).
• The Falcons limited Ringo to lower totals across the board, as he finished with eight points, six assists and three rebounds.

• Wiggins has now posted a double-double in a career best four-consecutive games.
• On the season, Wiggins has seven double-doubles, surpassing his total of six from 2016-17.

• Sophomore guard Dylan Frye registered 16 points, three rebounds, three assists and one steal.

• Plowden, who also had three assists, went 2-for-2 from downtown, marking his second multiple three-pointer game of his career.
• Redshirt-freshman guard Justin Turner went 4-for-8 from the floor, scoring nine points, while adding four assists, one rebound and one steal.
• Junior guard Antwon Lillard went 4-for-4 from the free throw line, and scored six points in 13 minutes.
• Freshman forward Derek Koch chipped in with three points, three rebounds and two assists. Koch has now posted multiple assists in eight games in 2017-18.
• Senior guard Matt Fox returned to action, posting two points and four rebounds in 12 minutes.
• Freshman guard Nelly Cummings added one point and one assist. He's now had at least one assist 17 of 18 games.
