Pelini Era Set To Begin Saturday At Ohio

Athens, Ohio - In front of a Homecoming crowd at Ohio University, the Bowling Green State University football team will play its first game under interim head coach Carl Pelini Saturday. Kick-off is scheduled for 2:00 pm and the game will be televised on ESPN3.

• Bowling Green is set to take on MAC East-foe Ohio University on Saturday (Oct. 20) at 2 p.m. at Peden Stadium. Bowling Green leads the all-time series with Ohio by a 40-27-2 margin.
• Ohio has won the last two meetings in the series, picking up a 48-30 victory in Bowling Green last season. The last time BGSU played in Athens, OU escaped with a 30-24 win over the Falcons in 2016.
• Ohio enters the ballgame 3-3 and 1-1 in conference play. The Bobcats have played both of their MAC games down to the wire, beating Kent State by a score of 27-26 before losing at Northern Illinois last week, 24-21.
• Saturday's game, which will be streamed live on ESPN3, will serve as Ohio's Homecoming game.
