Daisy Platts Named MAC Co-Swimmer Of The Week

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – Freshman Daisy Platts was named Co-Swimmer of the Week by the Mid-American Conference on Wednesday, Nov. 14.
Over the weekend, the Bowling Green State University Swimming and Diving Program competed in a pair of non-conference dual meets versus Michigan State and Youngstown State.
Platts was the winner of every individual race she competed in. Over a spread of four races, the freshman contributed 36 points to the Falcons' weekend point total of 401.
The freshman's efforts helped power BGSU Swimming and Diving to their first win over Michigan State (179-121) in over three seasons.
Platts was also in Falcon relay teams that placed first in the 200-yard medley relay (1:44.87) and the 400-yard freestyle relay (3:31.99) on Friday, and the 200-yard medley relay (1:45.08) and 200-yard freestyle relay (1:36.85) on Saturday.
