Gymnastics To Hold Intrasquad Scrimmage Friday

Bowling Green, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University gymnastics team will hold an intrasquad scrimmage Friday evening at 6:30 pm in Anderson Arena. Admission is FREE as fans can get their first look at the 2019 BGSUÂ team.
A year ago, the Falcons placed third at the MAC Championships, falling just .025 points shy of second place. The Falcons return a veteran team with NCAA regional and national experience. Junior Jovannah East became just the second Falcon in program history to qualify for the National Championships and the first to qualify in the all-around. She finished 34th in the country with an all-around score of 39.0125.
Senior Lauren DeMeno competed on the vault at the NCAA Regional round a year ago, while senior Kayla Rose was the first alternate on the floor exercise. BGSU added five new student-athletes to the roster for the 2019 season.
