BGSU Gymnastics Welcomes Six New Athletes To The Program

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University gymnastics program has welcomed six new Falcons to the program for the 2026-2027 season. Head coach Brittney Emmons is welcoming five freshmen and one transfer athlete to the Gymnastics team for next season.

The new athletes wearing the Orange and Brown this fall semester will be Abrielle Blyth, Elena Pipkin, Peyton Stanos, Reagan Frazee, Emma Roberts and Cece Park.
​
"I am excited to welcome this upcoming class to our BGSU Gymnastics family," Said head coach Brittney Emmons. Â "The five freshmen and one transfer are gymnasts that not only have amazing talent but are dedicated to what we are building here for the gymnastics program. I am beyond thrilled to see what they are going to bring to our program with their personalities, leadership, passion and dedication."

Peyton Stanos:
Stanos is entering her sophomore year and is the lone transfer coming to the Falcons. Coming in from Western Michigan University, Stanos is following in her mother's footsteps, as Andrea Seaman was a gymnast for the Falcons. Stanos comes to BGSU as a nursing major.
​
"Peyton Stanos is an athlete that has deep roots in the BGSU Gymnastics family with her mom being an alum of the program," said Emmons. "While Peyton was out last season, I am excited for her to use her experience at the previous institution to help build our lineups with her power and grace in her gymnastics."
​
Abrielle Blyth:
Blyth is a Freshman signee from St. Louis, Missouri, majoring in business at BGSU. Blyth comes from a family of athletes, being the daughter of former professional hockey player Charlie Blyth. Abrielle isn't the first in her family to represent Bowling Green, as her grandfather, Bruce Blyth, spent four years as an athlete in the hockey program from 1968-1972 and was the captain of the team during his senior year.

"Abrielle Blyth is also someone that has roots within the BGSU community," Â said Emmons. "She has a passion for what BGSU is doing as a university, as well as the vision of our program since the first time we met her. She is steady and consistent in her gymnastics, so be on the lookout for her to stick her bar dismount with confidence this season."

Reagan Frazee:
Hometown of Westerville, Ohio, Frazee enters her first year of collegiate athletics with the Falcons. Frazee comes to Bowling Green as an exercise science major with the career ambition of becoming an Occupational Therapist. Frazee comes to BGSU not just as an athlete, but in high school she was a member of the National Honor Society and Global Scholars Club.

"Reagan Frazee is our third Ohio student-athlete that joins us this season," said Emmons. "Having her be a part of this program will add another athlete that is steady and consistent in her gymnastics. Her club career truly blossomed this past year, which in turn will continue to help build confidence for not only herself, but for this program."

Elena Pipkin:
Born in Houston, Texas, Pipkin enters her freshman year as a gymnast for BGSU. Pipkin was a member of the National Honors Society and was awarded the Presidential Award of Academic Excellence. As she makes the trip north, Pipkin plans to major in exercise science with a career ambition of becoming a Physical Therapist or an FBI Agent.

"Elena Pipkin is an athlete who has an outstanding work ethic," said Emmons. "She is dedicated to pushing herself to be better every day, and we have watched her this past year in club gymnastics progress and compete upgrades. With her work ethic, we look forward to having her on our team to help continue to push us all to be better."

Emma Roberts:
Daughter of Michele and Richard Roberts, Emma makes her way to BGSU for her freshman year of college athletics. Roberts is planning on majoring in Biology with a career ambition of becoming a Dermatologist. Roberts was born and raised in Carroll, Ohio, where she attended Bloom Carroll High School, where she was a member of the National Honor Society.

"I am excited for Emma Roberts to join us this season as she brings a positive and bubbly personality," said Emmons. "As someone that is continuing to progress with her gymnastics and has made big strides throughout her club career, I cannot wait to see what she does when she arrives on campus this fall."

Cece Park:
Coming by way of Baltimore, Maryland, Cece Park enters her freshman year as a gymnast for the Falcons. Park plans on majoring in exercise science at Bowling Green. Park comes from the Baltimore School For The Arts & Acellus Academy and looks to make her impact wearing the Orange and Brown.
​
"Cece Park is a beautiful athlete," said Emmons. "She brings elegance, grace, and beautiful lines to her gymnastics. She is also the student-athlete who will be the biggest cheerleader for any and everyone. It will be a positive experience to have her on our sidelines and in our lineups."
