LAKEWOOD RANCH, Fla. – The Bowling Green State University women's golf program concluded play on Tuesday (Feb. 6) at the Mid-American Match Play Challenge. The BGSU-hosted event was staged at the Lakewood Ranch Golf and Country Club in Lakewood Ranch, Florida.

Bowling Green dropped a pair of match play rounds on the day. BGSU lost 4-1-0 to Akron, before taking a narrow 2-1-2 defeat at the hands of North Carolina-Asheville.

In the first match of the day, Sarah Kern picked up a victory (4&2) against Akron. Kern followed up that effort with a 3&1 win in the UNC Asheville match, while Erin Fahey and Jessica Madry tied their respective matches.

Kent State defeated Florida Gulf Coast to earn the championship. Below are results from today's action.
