Falcons Ready For Saturday #WhiteOut Of Maryland

Bowling Green, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University football team hosts Maryland Saturday at Doyt L. Perry Stadium for the 2018 home opener. The Falcons will be wearing all white for the contest and will be celebrating Heroes Day, honoring military, police, fire and EMS personnel. • Bowling Green and Maryland will be meeting for the second time in program history Saturday and the first time in Doyt L. Perry Stadium.
• The Falcons are 67-28-4 (.697) in home openers all-time.
• BGSU and Maryland have met once before. The Falcons blitzed the Terrapins with 42 second-half points in a 48-27 road win on Sept. 12, 2015. That came after a lightning delay and kick-started a glorious campaign that included a pair of Big Ten victories (adding a win at Purdue), a MAC Championship and an appearance in the GoDaddy Bowl in Mobile, Ala.
• Bowling Green is looking to snap a five-game losing streak at home since defeating Buffalo 27-19 to close the 2016 season.
