Coach Bergeron's Take
- "It thought through two periods it was a pretty even game. I thought we were playing pretty well, playing a good road game. We obviously weren't very good in front of the other team's net at all. I think our offensive zone time was fine, but it wasn't resulting in enough good chances. Then we were on the bad side of two plays in the third period. Against a team like Michigan Tech, in a game where the checking was as close as it was, you've got to find a way to be on the good side of those plays and we didn't."
- Adjustments for game two, "We have to be much, much better around the other team's net. We've got to find a way to score goals."
