Coach Bergeron's Take
- "I thought our team resilience was really good. Any time you can win a game up here you're doing something right. I thought through two period we were really good. A couple of decisions made us have to kill penalties at the beginning of a period. I felt we really played a good game. Michigan Tech showed that they're a great team and they weren't going to go away. They scored bang, bang and I wondered if I should call a timeout right then. We ended up making to the next media timeout, gathering ourselves and scoring on the power play. I'm proud of the way our guys responded to last night's game, and I'm proud of the way they responded to giving up the lead.
- On special teams play, "It was nice to see our power play take advantage of that opportunity. I thought our penalty kill was really good. The five-on-three kill at the beginning of the third period was huge for us."
- Coach on winning number 161 to be second all-time in wins, "Ron Mason who I just past and the one that's ahead of me in Jerry York are college coaching royalty, and I really don't think that I belong in that conversation. Obviously, we're proud of our time here at Bowling Green; lot of hard work and energy by a lot of people, Ty and Barry in particular. I'm happy for all of us, but I'm not quite sure I belong in that conversation."
