Cox Leads Falcons On Final Day Of Bearkat Invitational; Davis Posts Top-15 Finish

Final Results
MAGNOLIA, Texas – On the final day of the Bearkat Invitational, the Bowling Green State University women's golf team posted a team score of 309 to finish in seventh place at the 13-team event. Sam Houston State hosted the tournament at High Meadow Ranch Golf Club in Magnolia, Texas.
Houston Baptist finished in first place by recording a team score of 884. Sam Houston State (911) and Texas A&M – Corpus Christi (918) finished out the top three.
Nichole Cox carded the low score on the day for the Falcons, as she shot a 75 to go along with two birdies. Kayla Davis registered her second-lowest score at the tournament, wrapping up the event with a final-round 76 to finish tied for 14th. Davis had two birdies today, and her Top-15 finish marks the best of her young career.
Jessica Madry and Aly Kovach, who both finished tied for 29th on the individual leaderboard, turned in final rounds of 81 and 77, respectively. Bowling Green's lineup was rounded out by Dani Austinson (T-58) and Kelsey Sager (T-66).
