Falcons Head To Akron For MAC Fall Preview On Monday

AKRON, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University women's golf team travels to Akron next week to compete in the Mid-American Conference Fall Preview. The event, which will take place over Oct. 7-8, is being staged at the Silver Lake Country Club in Akron, Ohio.
The MAC Fall Preview is designed to give teams a preview of the upcoming MAC Championships. The Silver Lake Country Club will host the conference championships over April 24-26.
Bowling Green is coming off its best three-round score of the fall, as the Falcons finished in seventh place at the Bearkat Invitational (Sept. 30 – Oct. 1) in Magnolia, Texas by shooting a team score of 927. Kayla Davis currently leads BGSU with a 76.6 stroke average, which is on pace to establish a new freshman school record.
