Falcons Head To Fort Wayne For Final Event Of Fall Season

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Bowling Green State University women's golf team is set to take part in the inaugural Mastodon Fall Invitational. Purdue Fort Wayne is hosting the tournament, which is taking place at Pine Valley Country Club over Oct. 14-15.
The tournament will be Bowling Green's last of the fall season. Last week, the Falcons competed at the MAC Fall Preview in Akron, and were led by senior Jessica Madry's top-15 finish. Kayla Davis and Nichole Cox earned top-30 finishes, as the pair both finished tied for 29th on the individual leaderboard.
Cox led the Falcons with five birdies, while Madry's 3.17 par-three scoring average ranked tied for fourth in the field. Davis (4.47) and Madry (4.50) were amongst the leaders in par-four scoring. Cox also ranked tied for fourth in par-five scoring average (5.08).
DATE: Monday-Tuesday, Oct. 14-15, 2019
COURSE: Pine Valley Country Club: Fort Wayne, Ind.
PAR/YARDAGE: Par 71, 5,980 yards
TIME: 9 a.m. shotgun start both Monday and Tuesday
FORMAT: 36 holes on Monday and 18 holes on Tuesday
