DEFENSIVE NOTES
Caleb Biggers tied the BGSU record for longest play in school history with his 100-yard fumble return for a first-quarter touchdown. It was BGSU's first touchdown on a fumble return since Kyle Junior posted one last November at Central Michigan. Biggers totaled four tackles and now has 29 in 2019.
Kholbe Coleman forced the fumble recovered by Biggers. It was his second forced fumble of the season, which is a team high, and is the third of his career. With ten tackles, he remains second on the team with a season total of 64.
David Konowalski and Antonyo Sotolongo each forced a fumble, the first of the season for both. Sotolongo's forced fumble was the first of his career; Konowalski now owns four. Konowalski posted eight tackles, and that moves him within one of 150 in his career.
Jordan Anderson earned his first career interception when he picked off Quintin Dormady in the third quarter. He also posted two pass break-ups, giving him five in 2019 and four in the last two weeks.
Jamari Bozeman finished the game with a team-best 14 tackles, one shy of his career high (15, at Northern Illinois in 2016). The performance moved him past 150 career tackles (163).
