FIVE FASCINATING FALCON FACTS
• BGSU, as mentioned, won the MAC regular-season title. The Falcons posted a 3-1 win at Toledo on Thursday (Oct. 31) to clinch the outright crown. BGSU has captured the regular-season title for the third time in the history of the program, and the second time in as many seasons.
• The 2005 Falcons won the first MAC regular-season championship in program history, finishing with a then program-best 9-2-0 league mark. Last season, the Falcons went 10-1-0 in the MAC to set new school records for conference wins and winning percentage. Both the '05 and '18 teams won outright league titles.
• With another 10-1-0 league ledger this season, BGSU has become the first program in MAC history to win 10 conference games in back-to-back seasons.
• BGSU now has an overall record of 39-17-6 since Matt Fannon was named head coach prior to the 2017 season. The Falcons have a record of 26-6-1 in MAC regular-season matches in that time.
• Four different Falcons – redshirt junior Nikki Cox, freshman Kennedy White and seniors Chelsee Washington and Maureen Kennedy – each have scored at least 17 points this season. The 2019 season marks only the third time in school history that four Falcons have scored 15 or more points in a season. All three teams to achieve that feat (2005, '18 and '19) won the MAC regular-season championship.

THE OPPONENT
• Central Michigan enters Sunday's BGSU match with an overall record of 7-5-4, and the Chippewas finished MAC play with a 4-5-2 record. CMU will be looking to snap a five-match winless streak on Sunday, with the most recent match being a 3-1 loss to Eastern Michigan on Thursday. Among the Chippewas' MAC wins this year was a 1-0 road victory at Ball State in the league opener. Central is 4-3-1 at home and 3-2-3 on the road this year to date. In MAC play, the Chippewas went 2-3-1 in Mount Pleasant and 2-2-1 away from home. Marle Bringard leads the team with six goals and 14 points, while Lauren DeBeau has four goals and nine points this season. In goal, Zoie Reed has played every second of every match, and has six shutouts, 76 saves and a GAA of just 0.86 this season. First-year coach Jeremy Groves joined 15 returning letterwinners, including seven starters, who helped CMU to records of 7-12-0 overall and 5-6-0 in the MAC last fall.
THE SERIES
• BGSU trails Central Michigan, 14-8-2, in the all-time series, but the Falcons have captured the last three meetings after the Chippewas had won the previous 11 matches in the series. This season's regular-season meeting saw Chelsee Washington score the tying goal with less than a minute remaining in regulation, before Kennedy White recorded the winning goal in the 110th minute. BGSU picked up a pair of 3-1 wins in the prior two seasons, including 2017 at Cochrane and 2018 in Mount Pleasant. BGSU is 3-7-1 at home, 4-7-0 on the road and 1-0-1 in neutral-site matches vs. CMU through the years.
DOWN THE ROAD...
• The BGSU-CMU survivor will join the other three quarterfinal-round winners for Friday's (Nov. 8) semifinal round. As the number-one seed, the Falcons would host the remainder of the tournament should BG get past CMU.
• The MAC Tournament's championship match will be held at the semifinal site on Sunday, Nov. 10.
