First Round Of Rio Verde Invitational Cancelled

RIO VERDE, Ariz. – The Bowling Green State University women's golf team was set to open the Rio Verde Invitational today, but the first round of the tournament has been cancelled due to snow. The course is covered in snow, marking the coldest temperatures in the area in over a century.
The tournament, which was scheduled for 54 holes, will only last 36 holes now, with 18 holes apiece being played on Saturday (Feb. 23) and Sunday (Feb. 24).
