Coach Bergeron's Take
- "First and foremost we'll take a split at Marquette anytime. We obviously had to have a split minimum and that's what we got. Unfortunately we just didn't start the game well tonight. The details of our game were really poor, and they were flying. Now you're down three to one going into the second, you're chasing the game the whole time. We did up our level, we played a bunch of time in the other team's zone. They're a really good team, with a really good goaltender to have to come back against. I give them full marks, they deserve everything they got. Our collective just wasn't good enough and they'll make you pay for it."
- Thoughts about the upcoming bye week, "I think the bye week comes at a good time. We thought the holiday break came at a good time after the Mankato series, which it hindsight it didn't, that momentum went away over that ten days. Now we've got to find a way to get rested and have a big strong push here in the next six games. Because we're not only fighting for second place, we're fighting for home ice now. It's a dog fight here that we've put ourselves into, we take ownership of that and we'll have to wrap our arms around it."
