WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Bowling Green State University swimming and diving team saw two divers compete at the NCAA Diving Zones in West Lafayette, Ind. on Saturday (March 15). Junior Talisa Lemke and freshman Kylie Mosset both were participants in the 1-Meter Championships at Diving Zone C. The event saw 53 athletes compete with the top 18 advancing to the finals.

After finishing 11th in the 3-Meter dive on Friday (March 14), Lemke transitioned to the 1-Meter event. In the 1-Meter, Lemke totaled a score of 245.05 in the prelims/quarterfinals, placing in 28th place with an average round score of 40.84. Completing six dives, Lemke received her best score on her final dive, earning a 49.40. The dive completed was a Forward 2 ½ Somersault Pike. Lemke's full results are as follows.

2 - Back 1 ½ Somersault 1 ½ Twist Free, 40.00
3 - Reverse 1 ½ Somersault 1 ½ Twist Free, 20.80
4 - Back 1 ½ Somersault Pike, 44.85
5 - Reverse 1 ½ Somersault Pike, 44.40
6 - Forward 2 ½ Somersault Pike, 49.40

Kylie Mosset
For Mosset, the 1-Meter dive was her only event at the NCAA Diving Zones. The freshman compiled a score of 233.40 in the prelim/quarterfinal stage, earning 37th place for the event and a 38.90 average round score. Of her six dives, Mosset registered her best score on her first dive. After completing an Inward 1 ½ Somersault Pike, Mosset received a score of 49.20 with one judge giving her a 7.5 on the dive, the highest single score given to a Falcon on the day. Mosset's full results are as follows.
