ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The Bowling Green State University baseball team travels to Ann Arbor on Wednesday (April 17) afternoon to face the University of Michigan. First pitch from UM's Wilpon Complex is set for 5 p.m.

It will be a great experience for our team to play on the Big Ten stage, but we will need to execute the three phases at a high level in order to be in possession to win. SERIES HISTORY
Michigan leads the all-time series with Bowling Green. The Wolverines are 46-15-1 versus the Falcons all-time. Last season, Michigan swept BGSU in a three-game series in Ann Arbor over March 16-18. All three games were decided by three runs or less.

ABOUT MICHIGAN
Michigan recently dropped out of the top 25 following a 2-3 week last week. The Wolverines are coming off a weekend at Ohio State in which the Buckeyes claimed two-of-three contests. Michigan is averaging 6.6 runs per game and hitting .287 as a club. The Wolverine pitching staff has complied an ERA of 3.33.

MIDWEEK SUCCESS
In five midweek games in 2019, the Falcons have compiled a 4-1 record, including four-straight wins over Purdue Fort Wayne, (April 10), Dayton (April 3), Youngstown State (March 26) and Oakland (March 13). Bowling Green is still in search of its first midweek win on the road. In BG's only midweek road game of the season, the Falcons were defeated by Purdue of the Big Ten on March 20.
