Ten Falcons To Participate In NHL Development Camps

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – A total of ten former and current players from the Bowling Green State University hockey program have been invited to participate in 2019 National Hockey League (NHL) Development Camps. Six of the players are set to return to BGSU for the upcoming 2019-20 season.
Will Cullen (New York Islanders), Connor Ford (San Jose), Max Johnson (New York Rangers), Brandon Kruse (Las Vegas), Taylor Schneider (St. Louis) and Tim Theocharidis (Las Vegas) are set to return for the Orange and Brown in 2019-20.
Also heading to camp from last year's squad that reached the NCAA Tournament for the first time in 29 years are Ryan Bednard (Florida), Lukas Craggs (Nashville) and Adam Smith (Nashville). Bednard was drafted in the 2015 NHL Draft by the Panthers and Smith was a 2016 NHL Draft selection of the Predators. Craggs signed with Nashville in April.
Tomas Sholl, who completed his eligibility in the 2016-17 season and just finished a standout season with the Idaho Steelheads of the ECHL, is taking part in the Dallas Stars development camp.
Bowling Green sent nine players to NHL Development Camps last summer. The Falcons are coming off a 25-win season, which marked the program's fifth-straight season with 20-plus wins. BGSU played the eventual National Champions in Minnesota Duluth at the 2019 NCAA Tournament.
