Bowling Green, Ohio – Bowling Green's throws group, one of the top collegiate throwing teams in the country, took part in a variety of national and international competitions throughout the summer. Most notably, redshirt junior Kaila Butler finished as Canada's national runner-up in the hammer throw at the Canadian Track & Field Championships Saturday.
In total, four Falcons took part in high-level meets throughout the summer, including Aliyah Gustafson, who recently completed her eligibility in the Orange and Brown. The four-time All-American and six-time MAC Champion placed 14th in the shot put at the USATF Outdoor Track & Field Championships Sunday in her home state of Iowa, concluding her career in the event.

One last selfie in a uniform where I represent my 2X Alma Mater. I don't want to give it back LOL! I've truly loved being a falcon and today is very bittersweet. The last hurrah, the USATF Championships! 🧡 2 hours until warmups! pic.twitter.com/fLFB5Q3W6k
