Each week, the BGSU Strategic Communications Department breaks down the week ahead in athletics and recaps the week gone by. Listed below are all games over the course of the next seven days with links and information for fans. Following that info are recaps, scores and links from games over the past week.

Bowling Green opened the 2020-21 season with a 1-1 week. The Falcons were defeated at No. 25 Michigan on Nov. 25 go begint he season, but came back strong to post a 101-78 victory inside the Stroh Center on Nov. 28 versus South Carolina State. The Falcons led by just two points at the break, but opened the second half on a 21-0 run to open up a 66-43 lead with 15:38 remaining in the ballgame. BGSU had five players score at least 13 points, led by senior forward Daeqwon Plowden's 12th-career double-double. BGSU begins the week with a non-conference game in Boone, N.C. versus the 2-0 Mountaineers of Appalachian State.Â

BGSU Hockey has a full week ahead with three games on the slate. Up first will be a road trip to face Robert Morris on Tuesday (Dec. 1) set for a 7:05 p.m. puck drop. The Falcons will enter the contest as the No. 18 team in the nation while Robert Morris received votes in the latest USCHO poll. From there the Orange and Brown will return to Slater Family Ice Arena on Saturday (Dec. 5) for the first game of a home-and-home series against Mercyhurst. The home game is set for a 1:30 p.m. start while the road game, scheduled for Sunday (Dec. 6), will begin at 3:00 p.m. in Erie. Bowling Green will be led by a quartet of players that have all registered two points in each game so far this season, being Max Johnson, Alex Barber, Brandon Kruse and Connor Ford.Â

BGSU Football heads to Akron for its final road game of the season Saturday to face the 0-4 Zips. Bowling Green has won 10 of the past 11 meetings against Akron and is a perfect 4-0 all-time at InfoCision Stadium. The Falcons will look to continue developing a running game that has produced the most yards in a three-game stretch since 2017. Andrew Clair needs 89 yards on the ground to go over 2,000 for his career, while the defense has been anchored by sophomore linebacker Darren Anders, who ranks eighth nationally with 11.8 tackles per game.Â

The Falcons return to the Stroh Center on Sunday, taking on Milwaukee in a noon start. BGSU got the 2020-21 season underway with a 70-60 win over Valparaiso, as freshman Lexi Fleming scored a game-high 24 points in her collegiate debut. The Falcons led throughout, but the game was close until the Orange and Brown went on a 19-1 run to begin the fourth quarter and seal the victory. The current schedule calls for the Falcons to play three home games during the month of December, with MAC foes Eastern Michigan (Dec. 11) and Miami (Dec. 22) coming to town before the holidays.er.Â
