THE TEAM RESULT
- Bowling Green got off to a bit of a slow start on bars and beam and the Falcons trailed Brown 97.200-95.925 after two rotations Sunday.
- By posting a season-best 48.875 on floor, the Falcons closed the gap after three rotations. BGSU trailed by just 0.100 points heading to the vault.
- Three of Bowling Green's first four competitors on vault scored career-highs and the Falcons roared all the way back to get the win, on the strength of a 49.075 team score. That total was just shy of the school record 49.125 set in 2014.
- BGSU's 193.900 total team score is its fourth-highest of the year.
INTO THE RECORD BOOK THEY GO
- Even though BGSU struggled as a team on bars to kick off the meet, Alexandra Fochler certainly did not.
- Fochler scored a career-best 9.925, a total that is tied for the fourth-best in program history. It is the highest score for a Falcon since Amanda Lievendag recorded the same score in 2014.
- Elena Lawson scored a 9.900 on vault, also a new career-best and a mark that is tied for seventh-highest in school history. Teammate Jovannah East has earned that score a handful of times, most recently a year ago.

- Lawson's vault title is the first individual event championship of her career. Katelyn Goldstrom tied for second on the event with a 9.825 and it was the first time she has earned a top three score on an event.
