Dylan Frye Signs First Pro Basketball Contract To Play In Croatia

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio -- Dylan Frye, a standout player for the BGSU men's basketball team from 2016-20, has signed his first professional contract. Frye will begin his professional playing career for KK Vrijednosnice Osijek in Croatia. Osijek plays in the top league in Croatia.
"I'm very proud of Dylan for signing his first professional contract in Croatia," head coach Michael Huger said. "As a coach, it is rewarding to see our players go on and accomplish their goals of being professional basketball players. Dylan was an instrumental part of our program's growth, and we wish him a long and prosperous career as a professional. His IQ, shooting and play making ability will make him an exciting player for the Croatian fans to watch. Congratulations, Dylan!"
During his senior year, Frye became the program's all-time leader in three-point field goals with 238. He averaged 11.7 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.4 assists over 125 games as a Falcon. Frye started 102 contests, and ranks 10th in school history in assists (306) and 15th in scoring (1,458).Â
Frye's 238 triples ranks 21st all-time in the Mid-American Conference. He ranked fifth in the conference as a senior in assists (4.0/game), and fourth in assist-to-turnover ratio (1.8). Frye is one of three players in program history -- along with Antonio Daniels and Keith McLeod --Â to rank top-15 in scoring and top-10 in assists.Â
