400 RELAY BREAKS SCHOOL RECORD
- Earlier in the season, BGSU broke the school record in the 1600 relay. On Saturday, the Falcons broke the school record in the other relay event, the 400 relay.
- Ayanna Tommy, Jemeila Hunter, Ryen Draper and Savannah Nevels posted a time of 45.70 to edge out the previous record of 45.72 seconds, set in 2015.
- At the Gibson Invitational, Bowling Green placed first in the event. The Falcons rank third in the MAC this year with that time.
OTHER NOTABLE RESULTS
- Savannah Nevels won the 100, posting a time of 11.90 seconds in the prelims and then a wind-aided time of 11.58 seconds in the finals, a mark which would have been a school record. Her 11.90 places her fifth in program history in the event.
- In the 200, Nevels again recorded a personal best and won the event, this time with a time of 24.10 seconds. It is the eighth-fastest performance in program history, earned her a MAC automatic qualifying berth, and makes her the fourth-fastest individual in school history.
- Kailee Perry made her outdoor collegiate debut in the 1500, winning the event in 4:29.70. That time is a MAC automatic qualifying mark and is the tenth-fastest performance in school history. She ranks as the No. 4 individual in school history.
- Katerina Shuble was just behind Perry in the 1500, running a PR 4:30.15 to place second and move into fifth all-time at BGSU.
- Jemeila Hunter was third in the 100 with a time of 12.04 seconds in the prelims and then 12.02 in the finals. She moved into 10th in program history in the event with the result.
- Hunter finished second (behind only her teammate Nevels) in the 200 with a personal best 24.12, putting her as the fifth-fastest individual in school history and the ninth-fastest performance. It was also a MAC automatic qualifying bid.
- Ryen Draper was third in the 200 with a time of 24.39 seconds, just .01 seconds shy of a personal best. She also ran a season-best 56.44 in the 400.
- Iyanna Ross won the 400 with a personal best and MAC automatic qualifying time of 54.95 seconds. That makes her seventh in school history with the tenth-fastest performance.

- Megan Aalberts recorded a personal best time in the 800 at 2:21.26.
