Bowling Green Competes At Golfweek Fall Challenge

PAWLEY'S ISLAND, S.C. – The Bowling Green women's golf team concluded play at the Golfweek Fall Challenge on Tuesday (Sept. 14). The Falcons saw a 15th place finish out of the 20-team field that included 100 individual competitors, ending the round with a score of 928. Bowling Green posted round scores of 303, 297, 328.
Campbell finished first in Pawley's Island, concluding with a score of 853, including rostering the top placing individual, Anna Nordfors, who finished with a score of 208 over the three rounds. Jacksonville State (865), East Carolina (868), Lipscomb (871) and Central Arkansas (877) rounded out the top five.
Nichole Cox led the way for the Falcons, logging a score of 223 over the three rounds of play. Cox was consistent throughout, shooting 74, 74, 75, respectively. The outing placed Cox in a tie for 34th in the event.

MacKenzie Moore leads the Falcons and is tied for 18th through two rounds. She is +3 (73-72-145). Nichole Cox (74-74-148) is currently at +6, while Samantha Blackburn (79+75-154) is at +12. Kayla Davis (77-78-155) and Kelsey Sager (79-76-155) are each at +13 after two rounds.
The tournament concludes tomorrow with 18 holes.
