BGSU Takes Part in the Shirley Spork EMU Invitational on Monday and Tuesday

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green women's golf team continues the fall season on Monday at Eastern Michigan's Shirley Spork EMU Invitational. The two-day event will take place at the Eagle Crest Golf Club. The par-72, 6,175-yard course is in Ypsilanti, Mich.

The first 36 holes will be played on Monday with the final 18 taking place on Tuesday. Both days are a shotgun start with both days kicking off at 9 a.m.

Shirley Spork EMU Invitational
The Falcons will be one of 10 teams competing at the Shirley Spork EMU Invitational. In addition to Bowling Green, MAC teams taking place are Akron, Central Michigan, Ohio, Western Michigan and host Eastern Michigan. The rest of the field will include Detroit Mercy, Green Bay, Loyola Chicago and Oakland.

• Savannah Wyrick, Kayla Davis, Mackenzie Moore, Averi Mickelson, Olivia Steen and Emily Nystrom as an individual

Bowling Green won the event in 2018 with a team score of 592
Olivia Steen is playing in her first collegiate tournament
Savannah Wyrick is playing in the No. 1 position after her best collegiate finish +7 at the Colonel Wollenberg Ptarmigan Ram Classic last time out.
