Falcons Find Success in Day Two of Competition

OXFORD, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University swimming and diving team continued competition at the Miami Invite today.
The Falcons started today's competition how they finished yesterday. The Falcons added five top five finishes in events tonight. The divers added two top five finishes in the 1 Meter Dive thanks to a 250.25 from Grace Ellis which was good enough for fourth place. Ellis was closely followed by fellow Falcon Elise Snyder who finished fifth with a score of 237.15.
The swimmers also performed well. Three Falcons earned points in the 400 IM led by Ava Vial with a seventh-place finish and a time of 4:30.21. The Falcons then added another top fifteen time and points in the 200 Freestyle courtesy of Julianna Petrak's time of 1:53.81.
Taylor Harris had another strong outing. Harris was the top finisher of the swimmers earning a fourth-place finish in the 100 Breaststroke. Harris swam to a time of 1:03.47. Emily McNicol, also coming off of a strong first day, swam to a top five finish in the 100 Backstroke with a time of 55.71.
