BGSU Begins Play At Rio Verde Invitational

RIO VERDE, Ariz. – The Bowling Green women's golf team began play at the Rio Verde Invitational, hosted by Western Michigan at White Wing Golf Course in Rio Verde, Ariz. on Friday (Feb. 25). The Falcons, along with the rest of the field, played one round on Friday to kickoff the three-day event. As a team, the Falcons finished the round with a score of 324 with MacKenzie Moore leading the way with a score of 79 through 18 holes.
Moore led the way for the Falcons during the first day of competition, logging a total 13 pars during the round to tie for the third most on the day. Kelsey Sager saw success for BGSU on par fours, being one of 15 players in the field to finish even or better on such holes. Play will resume for the Falcons tomorrow morning with a 10:30 a.m. EST shotgun start. Bowling Green will be playing alongside Central Michigan and Missouri State.
