Neal Takes MAC Field Athlete of the Week Honors

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – Bowling Green State University's track and field student-athlete was named Mid-American Field Athlete of the Week, for events competed through April 3.
Neal (Sr., Findlay, Ohio) won both the shot put and discus events at Cincinnati's Oliver Kikoloff Invitational, which featured 20+ teams. She had a PR throw in the discus of 52.37m, which is the top throw in the MAC and 32nd best in the nation. Won the shot put with her second-best throw of the season, which was fifth-best in the MAC (she currently holds MAC's best throw).
The Falcons return to action this weekend when they head to Rochester, Mich., for the Golden Grizzlies Invite, hosted by Oakland on April 8-9.
