Falcons Skate To Sault Ste. Marie For CCHA Matchup

SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. – The Bowling Green Falcons (2-8-0, 0-2-0 CCHA) are set to continue CCHA play when they travel to Sault Ste, Marie, Michigan to face the Lake Superior State Lakers (5-5-0, 2-2-0 CCHA) for a weekend series. The Falcons and Lakers will face off in Taffy Abel Arena, puck drop set for 7:07 p.m. on Friday, November 17th and 6:07 p.m. on Saturday.

Lake Superior State is coming off a series lost against the Northern Michigan Wildcats. The Lakers are .500 in CCHA play and .500 overall on the season. The Lakers two conference wins were against the Bemidji State Beavers, which advanced them to fourth place in CCHA standings with six points. Jared Westcott leads the Lakers in goals (9) and assists (7). Westcott also leads the CCHA in goals and points (16) on the year. Goaltender Ethan Langenegger records a .907 save percentage through 10 games and leads the CCHA in saves per game.
