QUOTE FROM COACH SIMON
"Obviously, we're disappointed in the performance and the result. We had a couple of really good days of practice following Oakland. I think it's just one of those things; we got behind the eight ball. They hit a couple threes early off of our mistakes, but we have to be able to shoot the ball. That's the bottom line, we haven't shot it well. We practice, we chart everything and we shoot well, and it goes in. Especially the free throws have gotten in our head a little bit maybe. So it has to start there because you're getting too many open looks to get back on your heels defensively because of long rebounds. It starts a little bit there on that end of the floor and we have to find that and hopefully, maybe, that second half will stretch. Maybe we start to get a little confidence in our perimeter game. On the other end of the floor, we just lost too many one-on-one battles. There's no scheme, there's nothing we can do if we can't guard the ball one-on-one. Bellarmine is exceptional at moving and cutting and making you guard for 30 seconds. This is a great early season test of that and we didn't pass the test."
