Gilmore, Ortman Named to MAC All-Tournament Team

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Bowling Green State University women's soccer standouts Isabelle Gilmore and Makenzie Ortman have been named to the Mid-American Conference All-Tournament Team. The league announced the all-tournament team on Sunday (Nov. 5), following the championship game.
Gilmore, a native of DeWitt, Mich. (DeWitt), played all 90 minutes in the Falcons' semifinal-round matchup vs. Ohio on Thursday (Nov. 2), with a pair of shot attempts. On the season, Gilmore played in 14 of the Falcons' 18 contests, missing four due to injury. She played every second of BGSU's first 13 matches of the season, then missed the final four games of the regular season before returning for the Ohio contest. The junior was named to the All-MAC First Team, and finished second on the team in minutes played. She has played in 53 career matches at BGSU, making 51 starts.
Ortman, a native of Sylvania, Ohio (Southview), was on the pitch for 80 minutes of the Ohio match, with one shot attempt. That shot came after a corner kick, when she met that CK with a volley from the top of the box, seeing that shot go just high. On the year, Ortman saw action in all 18 matches, making 17 starts. The fifth-year Falcon finished fourth on the team in minutes played. She finished her BGSU career having played in a total of 59 games, starting 42.
