Two Falcons Make Finals at Day Two of MAC Championships

OXFORD, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University swimming and diving team continued competition today at Day 2 of MAC Championships.
For the Falcons only one swimmer made it to a finals swim. Sophomore Elayna Krupp was able to secure points for the Falcons with a time of 23.37 and a fifteenth-place finish in the 50 Freestyle. This is a six-place improvement from Krupp's debut at MAC Championships last year in the event. Krupp also participated in the 200 Freestyle Relay, swimming the first leg in the seventh-place finishing Falcon relay team.
The Falcons were able to pick up some more points thanks to Rayah Blood's performance in the 1-Meter Dive. Blood scored a 235.89 in the finals to earn an eighth-place finish. This is a five-place improvement from last season's MAC Championships where Blood dove in the Consolation final.

"Today was a better day overall compared to yesterday. We had a lot of personal best times and season best times. We came out today with a lot of energy and were united as a team. I am excited for tomorrow as it lines up better for us event wise. I am very happy for both Rayah and Elayna making finals."
